OMS and OE Meet At DEMA 2006
John Holder led the Oceanic Expeditions team on the BACKHANDER
II Expedition of Papua New Guinea's south central Bismarck Sea, June 2006.
With a support crew of five divers and six surface support members, John was
able to plan the navigation of the vessel and lead diving activities in
these remote unexplored seas.
When asked about his diving gear, Holder stated that he
considers OMS to be the worlds premier technical diving equipment
manufacturer, "I will only use OMS Back plate/Bladder systems mated to OMS
steel cylinders during my exploratory diving activities".
Holder and the OE team are undertaking a series of exploratory
expeditions within these islands searching for WWII wrecks to use as a focal
point to tell the story of the combat that took place here so long ago.
John further stated "When you are engaged in exploring
unsurveyed waters for new sites, you want to have No Worries with regard to
your diving systems performance and reliability" ... "OMS products provide
that confidence to me and my team dive after dive".
