Ritter Island Volcano Report Jan 2010 Published OE thanks scientist and taskforce member Steve Saunders for his report following the OE 2009 expedition to Ritter, even if your not into Volcanoes Steve's report is full of interesting insights about this unique island's history as the largest recorded oceanic eruption and landslide event.

HYBRID TRIPHIBIOUS SURVIVAL KIT OE introduces a new survival kit the Hybrid Triphibious Survival Kit (HTSK). The kit is a backpack constructed of waterproof and flame resistant fabric, for Triphibious (Land, Sea, Air) application the kit is designed to be worn or kept close in the field, because if you don't have it, it can't save you. The HTSK is conceived and designed by John Holder; the kits components are off the shelf for ease of acquisition.

OE Awarded lifetime membership and Newsletter story Nov. 1, 2009 What a surprise and honor to be recognized by the 80th Fighter Squadron HeadHunters Association....their newsletter article and lifetime membership cards which were awarded to John and George make us feel so humbled. Vertical informs key decision makers — including government personnel, managers and flight operations personnel — of the latest trends, technologies and issues affecting their operations. Warriors Adaptive Diving Blue Water Trip Sept 2009 After certification of the 10th adaptive scuba class of wounded warriors George accompanied John Duggan driving the scuba gear to Florida. He gets to do his video thing as the warriors experienced blue water wreck diving. The troops also enjoyed visits to Man of the Sea Museum, Air Force and Navy Base Tours. Dive Trip was organized with Duggan's favorite local Florida dive shop, Panama City Dive Center as part of his ongoing Adaptive Scuba Program. The majority of the trip was sponsored by the wonderful members of the Red River Valley Fighter Pilots Association, Air Warrior Courage Foundation and Veterans Airlift Command who provided two planes and pilots for air transportation of the warriors.

ESPN Live Radio America Outdoors Austin, TX April 2009 Hear George's good friend and OE supporter Paul Ellis Director of Swim For Reef , study abroad and reef protection for Cozumel, MX Paul swam accross the channel between Cancun and Cozumel to raise awareness for the reefs of Cozumel. George is trying to help Paul get a marine study abroad program funded and launched in Cozumel.

OE Attends Alamo Scouts Reunion March 13-14th, 2008 Meeting with several WWII heros, historians, and their families. The OE team was fortunate to be honored with an invitation to attend the ALAMO SCOUTS 2008 reunion in San Antonio, Texas held at the historic Menger Hotel. Russ Blaise (Ass. Executive Director), was our gracious host, and Lance Zedric (Alamo Scouts Historian) and his family regaled us with stories of the amazing history of this elite unit.

Presentation The National Museum Of The Pacific War Dec 7, 2007 OE delivered a 90 minute presentation to a full room of attendees who were in Fredericksberg at the 66th anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor.

Symposium Turning Point: Midway and Guadalcanal, The National Museum Of The Pacific War Sept 15-16, 2007 Check out this articel it was quite an event where the OE team met more WWII heroes, historians and even a Japanese Ace who flew in Pearl Harbor, Midway and Guadalcanal.

HEADHUNTERS Reunion April 2007 John Holder and George Cummings represented OE at the Original Headhunters 80th Fighter Squadron Reunion. Out of honor OE has adopted the 80th logo as our expedition logo. What an experience it was to be meet with so many WWII Heros, Aces and their families. We came home with Headhunter patches to handout on our expedition, 3 hours of priceless interviews, several new stories to add to our production and the feeling we were adopted into the 80th TFS family.

Duggan Diving & OE March 2007 John and George meet with John Duggan, Duggan Diving, Holder's long time friend, plans moving forward to work together on short motivation film documenting the scuba training for injured military men and women returning from Operation Iraqi Freedom, with long term goal of taking them on a future "Headhunter Expedition" seeking WWII wrecks and new dive sites in S. Pacific.
