Beyond his extensive diving and underwater video experiences Paul is also a physician whose specialty is pathology. He’s had a varied career in that specialty: he’s been an elected medical examiner/coroner, he’s run a clinical diagnostic out-patient laboratory, and, for most of his career, he’s looked at tumors removed in hospital surgical suites. Presently his professional work and passion is research into the early detection and treatment of cancer.
