National Museum Of The Pacific War
OKINAWA Symposium
17 September 2005

John Holder and George Cummings represented the Oceanic Expedition team, at the annual symposium presented by the Admiral Nimitz Foundation and the National Museum of the Pacific War. This year the symposium was on OKINAWA, and was held at Fredericksburg, Texas, in the High school auditorium.
First we would like to thank Admiral C.D. Grojean, USN (ret) of the Foundation, and Helen McDonald of the Museum, for so graciously providing the venue to the OE team. We are very appreciative of the opportunity to share our expedition with the symposium attendees and presenters.
And for yall who dropped by to checkout our presentation, thank you for interest and time. I hope you enjoyed our presence, and can appreciate the unique endeavor, which our team has undertaken.
This expedition is actually a series of efforts the OE team will put forth over the coming years. These Men, their Machines, and that Time and Place, deserve the attention and quality that current technology employed by a team such as OE can create and provide.

I would like to extend a most special thank you to Major General (ret) Yoshihiro Minamoto and his group, for honoring us with his interested visit, and patiently listening to my presentation regarding our HEADHUNTER expedition to New Britain.
In closing I would like to thank you ‘The People of the Symposium’, for your keen interest in WWII history! Let us all keep History Alive, Accurate, Fun, and Fresh!
